1969-1978 are the motor parts compatible?

Looking to boring over a 1971 cylinder head to a big bore kit, like to know if it will fit my 1969 motor.

You do not bore a cylinder "head" however a 71 head will fit your 69 engine, but then you will not have an original sandcast any longer (you would loose about 60% of it's value.)

Good point but I don't think my bike is a sand cast it was built in dec of 69.

The 1969 carbs are worth at least $600 in working order.

Many people want those.
Check Ebay for the prices.

They are easy to make every single adjustment while on the bike.
No lifter arms. No linkages. Less weight.
No screws to hold on the float bowl.
Only a simple clip.
Choke is a simple flip up/flip down lever.
Jets can be easily removed on the bike.
Slide needles can be changed on the bike.
On a Roadstar Adventure.
