1973 vs. 1978 CB750 transmission parts

Hi all,
I am wondering if the transmission gears and other transmission parts off a 1978 CB750 would be compatible with a 1973 CB750? Specifically 1st gear.

yes it will. unless you have a very good reason, use the 78 motor though. It is superior to the k1.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
