1975 Cb750F coils

I'm convinced my coil is bad.  I have spark in cylinder 1 and 4 but 2 and 3 are not sparking.
Several things to ask
How do i get the tank off to change the coils?

What are some good replacement coils and where can i get them?

What about a dyna electric ignition? are they available for my model? how hard of a conversion is it?

Well it may not be the coils, make sure the yellow and blue wires are still good and the points are still adjusted and working right.

However, if it is the coil, lift your seat and you should see a rubber strap at the tail end of the tank. Pull that strap back and the back should lift up and you can slide the tank back and off. Disconnect the fuel first of course. Not cause of the gas itself but I have seen people drop their tanks when the rubber hose pulled the tank from their hands.

You can still get coils from honda I think but for that cost, just get some dyna 5 ohm coils or you can go to www.partsnmore.com and get smaller less expensive coils.

sorry, but which yellow and blue wires?
I rode it to work and back (100 miles), one friday, the follow saturday i went to drive it and it ran but ran horribly, what sounded like two cylinders. so i pulled the plugs and i have no spark in 2 and 3.

Coming up from the points are a yellow and blue wire. The yellow goes to 2-3 I think but regardless, you will need to check those 2 wires. So pull off the points cover and you will see a shielded wire going up behind the engine, under that tank, and to the coils.
