1975 cb750k & f carbs

maybe73
Is there a difference in the two carbs? Will a carb rebuild kit from a 75k work on a 75f carb? I have figured out these carbs are from a 1975 cb750f. They are stamped with 064A on the body. I learn something new everyday.

They are the same, and the kits will work.

Thank you again, you are a great reference. The only reason I asked is that on vintagecb750.com they show two different part #'s with 105 main jets for the f (48-1909) and 110 main jets for the k (48-1908). Looks slightly different in the pictures, but I know that might not mean anything. A buddy of mine has 4 rebuild kits for the k carbs that he didn't use and will sell to me for 40 bucks. I"ll buy em. Trying to get ready for spring!

$40.00 for 4 kits. That's a deal!

Full unopened kits with both jets, needles, seats, gaskets, springs, no floats. Do you know why vintagecb750 shows two different kits for 1975 k & f ? This is why I was questioning. Thanks a ton.

I do not know for sure, but I am guessing it would be because of the different jet size on the main.

Done deal, I suppose I'll know when I get them apart if there is a difference. Thanks again.

Yeah, there are some subtle differences between jet sizes, but the other bits all interchange.

Jets aren't wear items so just reuse your old ones if the replacement jets are different sizes.

Excellent Idea. Just talked to a tech at peakmoto powersports in San Diego, Ca. Only difference in rebuild kits is the float needle seat for the f carb has a small screen like filter attached to it. So different part numbers. I keep learning. Thanks Shinyribs and Tools.
