my bikeHi, new guy on the block. I got a honda cb750 but dont know what specific type it is. it is a 76 but that is all I do know. It has a kick start on it along with a electric start. I get electric on it and I am in the process of cleaning out the electric start button and also searching for a new key ignition since mine is smashed to crap.

My dilemma though. first and foremost I can move completely the kickstart and it tries to turn over and I get air out of the mufflers. But I am not getting ignition. Since then someone tried to steal the bike and now it is the waiting game for the key ignition were my key goes. Yes I am a little slow today.

Any help though on what could be wrong with my new bike not starting? has oil has gas kill switch is off, fuel in carbs. lines are all good for the gas, no rust, coils seem in good condition but is this a symptom of coils that are done?

Thanks for any help.

Since you did not put up a picture, and my crystal ball is in the shop I can't say what you have. However it should have a serial number on the steering head, and it will tell you if it is an F, K, or A. From the description I doubt it is an A. If it has a disc rear brake it should be an F, and if it has a drum rear brake it should be a K.
