1976 cb750k Muffler

I have a 1976 cb750k that I am looking for a muffler for. It has 4-1 exhaust. The circumference on the muffler it would attach to is 2.25 inches... Carpy's 'scorcher' (which is kind of what I am looking for) mufflers are 2.5 inches.... anyone know where I can get something like this that would fit a 2.25" pipe?

Do this, go to an exhaust shop and get a piece of scrap pipe about 4 inches long that is 2.25 or 2 and have them size it up to 2.25 I.D. and 2.5 O.D.
Slip the extension over the end of the pipe and into the muffler. If you slide it into the muffler a bit, only a little will show and if you polish it with something line Nevr'dull(comes in a can) you can shine it up somewhat so it is hard to notice.

The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

We can get some real cheap mufflers through the speed shop,like $20 cheap.I tried one on mine,and it fit ok,but i swear it made it louder than open pipes.I cut up my stock muffler and am pretty happy with the results.I don't know what you''re looking for/have already, just a thought.
