1977 cb750k wires

i have a 77 cb750k and when i turn on the key in first position it turns all light on the dash just like normal but when i switch it to position number two for running lights nothing works all lights cut of has a new key switch so i for sure its not that what do i need to look for

One position is ignition and ALL lights.

The second position is just parking lights only. No headlight. No ignition.
