1979 CB750 FZ - American model

pioneer
Back on the road after 7 years off and stored. Lots of parts replaced and cam chains replaced, clutch etc, but is now running like a dream!

Just thought I'd share it with you. Not that up to date with these bikes, but its now going perfectly once carbs etc were set up properly. Really enjoying it. Could do with a new exhaust system -not leaking but has repairs to it here and there.

Sweet looking machine!  I'm glad it's running well.  It doesn't take much to get these bikes running, but it does take a little effort to get them running well.  One of my friends took a few hours sync-ing the carbs on his Nighthwawk, and the difference was startling.  The idle was so smooth, and it revved so nicely.

Used to have a 1979 CB750L, sold it as a parts bike, now riding a slightly modified 1984 VT700C. Network/Field Engineer. Central OH, USA, Earth, Sol System, Milky Way Galaxy, Universe.
