1980/1979 CB 750 F/K

FastCletus
Here is my ride so far.  Almost done with mechanical, then off to looks, and comfort
Here is what it is, or what I have learned it it.
I bought this bike off Ebay, for $300.  No title, and wrecked front end.  Put a lien on it, and in a month had title.  Ignition cover and unit were gone(broken), replaced that and got it running.  Front forks and triple was bent replaced that, and it was rideable (although ran like shit)

Nicely done.

Any details on that Nissin front master swap?  I am actually looking at swapping out all of my controls, gauges and switches.

Did you go for stainless steel brake lines as well?

Nissin is awesome.  the power on it is great. I barely pull it in (about 1/2 inch) and rear is coming off the ground.  Just kidding but it is that good.  No way I could pull that lever all the way in.  I bought it off ebay.  its the 7/8 model.
I want to do the stainless lines, but not on the priority list just yet

Nothing special to install it. Just new crush washers

Damn, I got all excited that this was going to be a cheap way to dramatically increase braking power.

They go for a lot more than I thought they would.  I'm finding them on ebay for $200+

Did you buy it online or just walk in?

Since I'm in Canada I'll likely have better luck with a Canadian distributor, but I might hunt around a little knowing that they can be had for that price.

bought it online. Might of been an open box thing, cant remember.  Keep and eye out for them on ebay, if you can get in and out for 150 or less its well worth it.  Now I just need to stiffen the front end up so when I hit this awesome brake the front end doesn't slam
