I put my bike down last fall, it is mechanically sound but i am having electrical issues. I had to replace the headlight and bucket (as i was unable to obtain a replacement retainer and adjustment ring). There is a black wire that was attached directly to the stock bucket that is HOT. i am not sure what its for or why its hot. i pulled most of the wire coverings and there aren't any shorts.
I was able to get my rear turn signals to work again, but the fronts still will not blink. they are on when to power is but turn off when the signals are engaged. The front right light bulb socket is corroded and i am unable to remove the bulb, it works but could the corroding cause the blinker issue as well?
