1981 CB750K OEM Tool Kit

Does anyone actually have the factory tool kit in their DOHC 750?

What tools and sizes came in the tool bag? I'm trying to recreate it.

From left to right above
1. Some sort of lug wrench - but what size?
2. Handkle fors crewdriver blades -OK
Below from left to right
3. Looks like Ring Wrench to adjust shock preload.
4. 14/17mm combo wrench - OK
5. 10/12mm combo wrench - OK
6. 28mm (I think) box wrench - need to confirm size
7. I have no idea?
8. Flat screw driver blade - OK
9. Large Phillips screwdriver blade - OK
10. Small Phillips screwdriver blade - OK
11. I have no idea?
12. Pliers - OK
13. I have no idea?

Anyone who can fill in the blanks, I would really appreciate it.

1.  spark plug wrench.  Should be 18mm.
7.  extension handle for the big box wrench.  I think the 22mm may be for the rear axle bolts: loosen those, then move the 8mm bolts to tighten/loosen the chain.
11. probably extensions for the screwdriver blades.  More leverage, I assume.

Not sure about 13.  Looks like maybe a 6mm wrench, possibly an 8mm?  Not sure.

You might try www.bikebandit.com and look for the tool kit for your year and model of bike.
Might also try www.cheapcycleparts.com  Seems they use the actual Honda part number.

I hope this helps. My tool kit has a couple of wrenches, a Gerber multitool, and some other stuff.

No# 1 is a spanner wrench. You use it to adjust the pre load on the shocks, and the steering stem nut. No# 5 is an extension handle, for No#4. No# 9 is the handle, for 6, 7, and 8, and I have no idea about  No# 11. I have one in my tool kit. I thought it was a spoke wrench, but it does not fit them. I also have a 22mm, and a 24mm wrench in mine.

I found out today that I actually do have the factory tool kit. I know how rare that is. I didn't have time to pull all the tools out, but when I glanced in it, it looked a lot like the kit displayed above. I just recently purchased this old '81, and have been fighting a spark problem, but it runs like a scalded dog now.

I had a 72 & 73 CB 750 and could never figure out what that tool at the far right ever did. I think the Japs just threw that in there to mess with us. I would be a good pry bar but as for what it was intended for nobody could ever tell me. Interesting huh .......

No mystery, it's a spoke wrench.
