1981 cb750 custom

octember
Hi, I am in the process of a nut and bolt restoration of a 1981 cb750c. I cannot find anyone who produces a warning/information sticker kit. When I got the bike it had been abandoned for 15yrs and there were very few stickers on it so knowing where they should go and how many there are is becoming a real challenge. Any information would be very much appreciated.

Usually there are remnants of the stickers still on the bikes. The decals that were most likely to have been removed were the ones on the speedometer, and gas tank. I have had decals reproduced for some of the bikes I restored by a local sign printing company. They will take pictures and measurements of the decals and then somehow (maybe with some sort of black magic) put them in a computer, and then print them. Sorry I do not have a bike with good decals to get pictures and measurements from, but I am sure there will be a member here with a bike that still has the decals on it. Maybe they would be kind enough to take pictures and measure the decals for you.

CBdecals.com has this and it seems very complete:  https://cbdecals.afegraphics.com/index.php?adminshopping=&cat_id=27

Little random stickers may be reused between models. Like chain gaurd decals, etc... so you may have to buy decals for a K or a F, even though it's the same decal you need for your C, just because the C's aren't as popular with the masses as the K and F bikes.

thanks for the information. No decals or remnants except for the speedo and one side of the frame which is almost triangular and has chain info on it.

I'll try that website- thank you.

Problem is that without any decals to compare I cannot tell which of the other models decals are the same. There are few if any of these bikes here in the UK.

I have a 1982 CB750C, all decals and tags are intact.  I can take some photos if you still need them.

I will send some photos this evening. The Tank decal is gone, but that is a bit of an obvious one.

sorry, been off-site for a while.

and unfortunately, my bike is stored and unreachable until the spring. lmk if you still need a pic or two then and I'll fire them off to you.
