whats up im new here..my 1981 750k only runs with the choke on  can someone tell me why?

thanks tools1.this bike has been sitting for 2 years with gas in it and it was varnished.i cleaned the tank out and stuff I guess ill tear the carbs down..

You should get rid of the Spawn Of Satan too while you're tearing stuff down... theres a bunch of stuff on here about it.
