1982 CB on Ebay Price it?

txnnd
After everyone's great input on the 79 CB750 being overpriced, I ran across this one today.  Again, I'm no expert, but this looks like a clean example, and the style I've been looking for.  Remember, I'm not looking for a 100% factory correct bike, just a reliable rider.  What are you thoughts on what this one should go for?  All the feedback is much appreciated!

Truck
Nice looking bike. however the reserve hasn't been meet and there is 5 days left. Most bidding goes on in the last hours and a nice bike like this is liable to skyrocket. Plus, I'd be worried about making that kind of an investment on something I haven't seen with my own eyes.
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid

Sure is nice looking. I'd be wanting some sort of guarantee though. What if you were to get it and go to pick it up and it runs like shit? Sure it might look nice but a bike that runs bad isn't worth that price.

And honestly, I would not pay more than 2500 for it really. It isn't a coveted bike really and newer bikes, even from the 2000s can be had for that price.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
