750 f2 sohc stalling problem

lachleaves
what do you make of this folks...

took off up the road - coughed and spluttered a little - but then suddenly stalled.  kicked started her back into action, revved freely, but just as i went to pull away - stalled again!  she keeps doing this, over and over...

it seemed to me, that as i leaned her over (to the left) and kicked started her - she started and ran fine.  as i stand her up to engage 1st and pull away - suddenly stalls!

i pushed her to the local bike shop, and left her there for them to have a look at.  i thought i'd just try her one last time before i left - she ran fine this time - no stalling!!  grr!

all i can say is, i've changed the plugs, oil and air filter, drained the tank and soaked the petrol tap and filter in petrol (and gave it a little sgrub with a toothbrush).  and yet, it still sounds like some kind of fuel starvation to me.

please tell me, someone can help me out here??

thanks
lachleaves.

sounds like your carbs could be fouled.  if nothing else has changed on your set up and you've got spark and changed your plugs and all it sounds like maybe your jets are getting a little clogged.  try running some carb cleaner or even better pull them and give'em a good cleaning
