76 750k: need stock sprocket

dave Esch
Got a homemade cafe racer. When I bought the bike previous owner had a huge drag sprocket and gargantuan chain installed. I try to avoid highways because at 65 mph my rpm's are around 5300. I know that's far from WOT but I don't feel comfortable at that rpm for long time. That and my friends complain its too loud behind me. Anyway, question is, anyone have a stock sprocket and chain they may want to part with? If so, with the stock sprocket what is a typical rpm range at 65-70 mph?

That rpm is not far off. As for a sprocket, you best bet is to get both the front and rear and a chain. now you do not need to get an oring chain but i went to mawonline.com and got the stock sizes of sprockets and a 530 oring for about $130. See if you replace old parts with old parts, they just wear out right away.
As for volume, that is all exhaust. Most likely the guy took out the baffles and so you either leave it alone, put in some sort of baffle or some new pipes.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
