Hi team, does anyone have a resource for a speedometer case and lens?
Are the speedometer housings for 1978 cb750, cb750k and cb750f all the same?
I've checked eBay and looked at the sites that do custom refurbishing, but haven't found just the case and lens for a super sport without paying $100+. I just need to replace my case and lens with good ones.
I'm surprised as prominent and vulnerable on our bikes as they are that they aren't more readily available at sites like cb750 Supply.

The F has a higher redline then the K, that is why they are so expensive. Other then that they are the same. I have a 78 F model speedometer in good shape that I would let go for $75.00 shipped.

I took some pictures of the speedometer tonight. It has a little moisture in it because I rinsed the saw dust off it (it was in a box next to my miter saw.) The moisture will dry out! The face is perfect! It shows 17,398 miles. The pictures do bring out every blemish. It does look better in real life. There is one spot on the top of the housing where something has rubbed it. I think it had a bike cover on it for a long time. The tac has the same rub mark. However there is not any dents.
Let me know if it's what you want, and I will get it in the mail.

This looks in pretty good shape, except the speed on yours only goes up to 80, whereas on the cb750f it goes up to 140. See mine. I want to stick with the stock speedo. Thank you for the effort.

I do not think yours is stock. Back in 78 the Govt had a law that mandated that all speedometers be marked at 55 mph, and not exceed 80 mph.
