'78 cb750k, Need to sell!

spunk32

Trying to sell my Dad's bike that he never rides.  All original miles and parts. Only 22,000 Miles because it mostly sat in a garage.  Just looking for the best place to sell this bike and came across this forum.  If you or anyone you know is interested please let me know.  Also, any advice on where to list the bike aside from the usual, ebay/craigslist, please let me know.  Thanks!

You're more familiar than I am.  Is this a fair price to be asking?  Thanks

$3K is a bit high,at least for my area. Is it a turn key bike? Just jump on and ride away,or does it need anything to ride(carbs cleaned, tires are old, rusty chain...etc.)? When was it last ridden?

The bike still fires right up and runs great.  I rode it just this morning.  It is coming due for some tires, but really all it could use is s good tune up.  Mechanically it is great, really just cosmetic items need work due to some tarnish and minor rust.

The way it is now, I would say $2,000.00 would be top money. If, you removed the fairing, and put the original headlight, and turn signals back on, it might increase it $200-300

I paid $700 for mine, bought it running, so I'd pay perhaps $900 for yours.  I actually find the fairing valuable.  You could, of course, be the smart one who posts it in Ebay for even more than $3,000 dollars just to see if a fool bites the hook.
