Hi all was wondering if there is a direct swap out for a 17 or 18 inch rear rim for my 81 750c? Also does anyone know of a longer swing arm that will fit my frame?

Any year/model CB 750 rear wheel will go right onto your C model. You will just need to make sure to use the cush drive/spacers from your current wheel. As for swing arms, the C model has the longest factory swing arm Honda put on the CB 750, so if you want longer, you are going to have to go hunting for another model/brand bike, and then your wheel would be another problem.

I thought the F's had the longest arms? The C's are the longest?

I am pretty sure that all the DOHC swingarms are the same length.

OK, I'll bite.
I've seen them all over the place, and I'm wondering:
What is the deal with these extended swing arms? More comfortable ride? Better traction? Less wheelies? Purely aesthetics? Just a fashion statement?

I thought I read a thread somewhere that the supersports had the longer swingarm but I've read alot of misleading information in some other sites!

Most were made to keep the front down for drag racing.
I like the look and if I move the tire back I can fab some cool brackets for my rear sets and get them where id like them to be.

Hey Luke, where did you see them and did you find any specifically for the cb750?

I haven't seen any swingarms for our CBs, but I have seen them on other racer-type bikes.
My question was more of a "Why would you need to lengthen the swing arm anyway?"

My is mostly for looks,I'm pretty tall so the longer bike fits me a little better. I actually couldn't even ride comfortably on the stock seat because I had to partially sit on the passenger seat and it made me feel like the whole bike was in front of me.
