82 750k upper fork tubes

waterboy
HI, I have a 82 750k with pitted upper tubes. I've been beating my head against the wall trying to find good replacements. I'm looking for a direct replacement and not having much luck, everything decent I find on ebay is not quite the same as mine and I don't know enough about the CB's to know what will interchange and what won't. I'm starting to think these air adjust forks are a curse as theres not much info on them. Any advice would be great. Also does anyone have a link for a how-to fork seal repair for this style fork?

Thank you

Try "Forking by Frank" for the tubes. As for a rebuild tutorial, these forks are just about identical to the earlier forks (the earlier tubes will work in them) and the rebuild procedure is the same. Try searching for "My Buddies POW MIA Bike" in the build section. It has a step by step tutorial on rebuilding the forks.
