Hey masiste, how quick ya leaving? I got prototype #1 made up. Ya wanna be the guinea pig?

Shoot me a PM of you want me to send this thing over. Or...if you think its the ugliest thing you've ever seen and wouldn't be caught dead with it on your bike... just say so. Constructive criticism is well received here. :)

Added an extra o-ring just for good measure. Shoulda took a pic of it on the bike, but the fingernail groove to help pull it out sits just above the boss the plug slides in to.

 Thanks a lot shinyribs.

BTW what kind of gauges are you going to use ?

About JBWeld, I was thinking we could go a different route.

What about grinding off the tach drive off of the the camshaft holder ?

That would leave the camshaft holder alone, w / o the tach drive, only then welding a piece of metal cut to size over valve cover would end all leak, seals and related concerns.

Or else the tach drive devoid of internals (tach canle gear) could work as a temp gauge sender location. That temp gauge would measure cylinder head temperature.

Since our bikes are air cooled, this gauge would help monitor engine specially in hot summer days. Racing and dune VW vehicles monitor cyl head temp like this.

Hi Shinyribs.

Just wrote down previous reply and saw this other one pf yours.

That looks very good. That is actually what is needed. The mushroom head of the SOHC plug is useless on the DOHC bikes.

I think it looks great. I would definitely try ot, but I am leaving Thirsday morning, I would not be here by the time it were to arrive.

But yes I will do so upon return. Will let you know when I am about to return.

If your making one why not make 2? I'll buy one from you too.
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid
