Wow Tools, glad she is doing well and isn't afraid to get back on that horse, talk about brass cajones!

Those sport-bikes lul people into a false confidence because they are so light and handle so well, sometimes that'll make you lose some of your common sense and get you hurt....

That wasn't it. I know, because she doesn't have any to start with.

Ahem, not sure whether or not I should laugh at that....  Hopefully Toolbabe isn't reading this forum behind your back... I've just seen people hop on those bikes and go oh yeah, I am the shit, then next thing they know they're in the hospital going, oh shit....

Sports bikes give me the creeps and this reinforces that,  even though the turning too wide beginner's issue can happen in a CB750 as well, as stable as it is.  It happened to me on my first month of learning but I was lucky not to hit the curve.

Toolbabe has surgery scheduled, for tomorrow morning. Dr says she can only ride as a passenger, for 8 weeks. Says he will put a plate on the lager bone, and maybe a pin in the smaller one. Also she will not even need a cast he said.

Ouch, glad she is all good tho, but in the meantime I would avoid her newly reinforced backhand

Speedy healing wishes to the lady! I hope the surgery goes well. I broke my wrist in an accident with a horse and had to have some hardware put in. The x-ray pics were cool to look at though...
