So let me get this right. I have disc brake in the back, and double discs in the front. And from what Ive gathered i have to drop a caliper on the front for a direct bolt on With the 79-83 rims. And its possible that a 78-78 front Wheel would work but you cant confirm it?
And the rear ? Considering i have disc comstar as of today

The rear spoke wheels, and the drum brake comstars are all interchangeable, as long as you have the correct cush drive, and spacers for your year/model engine. I have never tried the front wheel swap you are asking about, so I do not know if it will go right into your forks, but I do know that you can swap the forks, and wheel right into your triple tree.
