Any bike right? Here are mine

gdcpony
So any bike right? Well here you go.

77 Yamaha XS 650- My first bike and veteran of my first two accidents. One of those was with my daughter on the back. Now as repayment for that unfinished ride in 2011 she wants the bike fixed back up for her.

05 Harley Sportster 1200R- My current cruiser/touring bike. I love it for its comfort, styling, and the ability to garner 50-60mpg out of a 1200cc bike.

82 Honda CB750F- A project from one of my Marines. It looks quite a bit different now as we undo all the work the previous owner did trying to cafe it. Maybe soon I will have it back in some semblance of good shape if the guy ever gets me more parts.

06 Yamaha Virago 250- This bike has since met an unfortunate demise at the hands of an uninsured motorist (pic). My daughter learned on this bike and it also served as my wife's bike to cruise with me. It got 90-95mpg average and was getting new shoes this day (my daughter tried them out thinking I wouldn't know in one of the pics). I won't lie I miss it a bit.

I also have a 2002 Suzuki Bandit S 600 in the garage for another Marine that is a blast to ride. I replaced the Virago with a 2012 Honda CBR250R in the red and silver. It is the first vehicle I ever got to watch roll from 0-1 on the odometer. Got a deal as a leftover from last year.

I am looking to buy my wife a CB750C that I found for cheap a couple hours away. It has 50+k miles, but I have heard over and over that these motors run forever. That is actually a large portion of the reason I joined here today. Any tips on checking it out?

I will post newer ones later after I see if I end up with this bike this weekend.

Nice collection. I hope no one was hurt in that accident. As for checking out the C model, check to make sure it is charging. These bikes have problems with the charging systems.

The first accident gave me a scar on my knee, but the others no one was hurt bad enough to need any real care. My collection is growing! But no CB750.

What do you think about the Harley Davidson compared to the imports?

IS the added cost really warranted? I always wondered about the reliability of the H-D's.
