Since it's the season:
We went caroling one year when the weather was in the teens.  Silly me, I took my acoustic guitar along (not the _good_ one, the beater) for some music, thinking I could play along.

Fingerless gloves didn't work, so I took them off.  Big mistake.  Almost got frostbite by the time we were done. Imagine little frozen sausages trying to chord a guitar neck.  Clunk clunk clunk.  Didn't hurt when we were out, but by the time my hands thawed out, ouchie.

Merry Christmas.

The beater...isn't it amazing how much weather can tear an instrument up?

I saw an ad for an industrial building near the arts district in a nearby town that's hot right now for night spots, art shows, and fine dining. It would be three block away from everything and it's a 2500 sq ft "warehouse" with a separate living area in back. The front is all open shop with a garage door and a regular door for access. Would love to pull the bike into the "living room", walk past the pool table to the bar and grab a shot after work! lol

Now that sounds like what I want. However the front would be a bike shop.
