Hey everyone, thanks for reading.
I have a 81 750 C. I took it on a tour this summer and at the tail end of that tour i started having a few problems. I think one is electrical and i am dealing with that but the second one i don't know and would love some advice.
here we go:
when i accelerate there is a terrible clicking noise. It is the worst if i am in a slightly higher gear than i should be (if i am in second and could also be in first). It speeds up as i speed up and eventually it goes away when i am at speed.
I think it started possibly when i was on a road under construction and the conditions were terrible: sand and rocks. It has gotten much worse since then. It is not as bad when I first start the bike and gets bad about 5 minutes in to a ride.
is it the clutch? if so, can i adjust it or does it need to be replaced? any advice is appreciated as always,
