I hear ya Lucky.
I'm thinking the guy is just blowing smoke.....we'll see.

But it's funny, you go to ebay, pull up cb750s, click on motorcycles, and some
go for big, some for nothing.

Lucky 1
Some people get around fancy machines and their mind kind of takes off on its own.
Its ok I guess no harm really.

Well guys, a gas cap and a set of grips, and this one is ready to go.

I think.

Still conflicted, keep it for guys that visit or want to go riding with me,
or cash out.

Ended up just really going over everything.

A new battery, the carb parts, that's all I've got in it.

Made a bracket for the speedo, same with a set of sidecovers.

Still can't get it to rev as quick as my F model, makes me think there's something
in that SS I don't know about, a 900 cam or something.

Anyways, theres another one in the paper, sohc I think, title but missing some stuff, guy wants 300.

Should I stay, or should I go?

Truck
Did you use the stock guage? and if so how much to make a second bracket?
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid

95% of Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... The other 5% made it home.

No, that's not a stock speedo, but that's what came with the basket.
I think it's off a sohc model.

I took the bracket from the dohc set, that was bent, cut half of it off,
cut the bracket that fit the good speedo, mounted them with a set of vise grips
holding them till I got it where I wanted it, tacked them together and poof.

Shineyribs has a killer shop, he's pretty good, maybe he could help you out.
