Bike stalls.. Then won't start!

Crazybenrunner
Hey everyone, this is my first post and my first bike.  Im riding a 91 cb750 and the previous owner put in a brand new battery (I have the receipt, looks legit).  At first everything seemed fine, it would start right away, I stalled a couple times but I could start it right back up.  But a couple weeks ago after letting the bike park for a couple hours without the key, it wouldn't start.  I push started it to get it back home, and the next day I couldn't get it to start even with a push start.  I charged the battery through the wall for about 9 hours (making sure it was the right charger) and then for a week it ran fine.  Just recently on a ride I stalled the bike and it wouldn't start back up.  So I push started it and was thankful that it started.  When I got to my destination and parked it for about 30min, it started but rev very low, I was afraid that it would stall just idle, so I pulled the choke a little - and that killed it.  Now again it does not even push start.  Pressing the ignition switch at first sounded like it was trying to turn, after couple tries later it does literally nothing.  I had to tow it back to my place.  I feel like something in the bike it causing the battery to die, because it is supposed to be just a couple months old and I gave it a good charge, and why can't I even push start it now.  I do let it warm up first every day before riding with the choke and make sure that the gas is on.  Anyone?

Welcome to the forum. I hate to tell, you, but, you have a problem with the charging system. I would suggest that, you download the manual from our manual thread at the top of the page, and read the section on the charging system. It will show how to test the components. If, you have any questions about it just ask.

Thanks for the tip, I hope it's not an expensive fix.  This is my bike, when I get it running I'll probably have a better photo shoot.
