CAFÉ or trouble

Piute
J&P Cycles shared S&S Cycle, Inc.'s photo.
This S&S Cycle, Inc. X-Wedge powered Confederate showed up at the the Bonneville Salt Flats for the 2012 BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials - it looks fast just sitting there!

I just do not like it at all.
A bunch of parts that do not fit. the machining and fabrication
are excellent but the looks are of the overall bike took 2nd place to the fabrication.
I do not like that Confederate name either.
Something about the civil war or the south???
The seat looks like a conveyer belt. Who wants to sit on a conveyer belt?
The seat does not look inviting at all.

Kind of a Military deal.
Looks military.
I keep getting the feeling that whoever runs this company never served in the military.
They have a attraction with military hardware.

confederate: an accomplice, especially in a mischievous or criminal act.

I think that definition is fitting for the bike, and likely what they were shooting for.

I like it. It's different and that always appeals to me. Function over form is cooool!

I wonder if it has a frame,or if everything just sprouts off the engine? Anyone got a link to some more pics?

Not the sexiest of bikes, but I'd luv to take it for a run or 2 down those salt flats!
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid

95% of Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... The other 5% made it home.

Wow that thing is awesome looking! Ive never seen a bike like that before. Creating something original is awesome even if the look doesn't appeal to you, gotta give an "A" for ingenuity. Those who don't like it would not say no to the owner if offered a ride. I would ride an OCC bike if offered the chance, even though I truly dislike cruiser type bikes (sorry to the cruiser guys out there, no offence, just not my cup of tea). Awesome bike! A+

Lmao, Piute I was thinking the same thing. That bike kicks ass, I love seeing different things that people build, variety is the spice of life. Skulls and flames are near and dear to my heart, but hey, I'm not opposed to different things.

I bet if any of us rode it one of two things would happen. Wet set  or the owner will have to knock us off to get it back.
Simple if some one else can, why can't I
