CB750 to featherbed frame

john stringer
I can purchase a Norton rolling chassis, featherbed frame, roadholder forks, swing arm, wheels etc. and I have a CB750 engine. Can I graft the honda engine into the Norton frame. looking on the web I don't find any reference. I am easily capable of the mechanical work having rebuilt enough bikes but is it possible? is it worth the trouble??

of course you can but it will take A LOT of work and time and maybe money. Is it worth it? Probably not as engine dimensions are different, exhaust mounting will be different. I am sure the sprocket offsets will not match. It would probably be just as easy to build a frame from scratch.
