CB750K0 Question

chemeclimber
All, Is there any value in 1970 CB750K0 parts.  I picked up a bike for very little, but I know nothing about CB's.  The entire bike is complete but the chrome is very bad and the motor is locked up.  VIN # 1027.... (can't rememeber the next numbers).  The engine number is correct for the year; I do know that. Looked it up.

Have you tried to polish the chrome some? If you give it a good rubbing, it might not be that bad. Also, have you put in some penetrating fluid in the cylinders(leave out the spark plugs) and let it sit a few days and then try to bump the engine over? the rings might just be frozen. Price would go up if you got the engine to turn over.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

I just got the bike so I have not tried anything to get the motor free.  Also, I tried to polish the chrome.  Looks OK, but its pitted.  About a 5.5
