Can Ya Help with Stator info

     O.K. I found a stator (few actually)Trying to cross reference #'s & such beginning to be a pain SO I ran across this according to his data ;

This is a good used field coil stator for a Honda CB750K (69-78) and CB750F (75-78).  The part number is 31103-300-045 and it is discontinued.  This part has some rust and wear.  Check with your local mechanic to see what other models this may fit.  If you have any questions please call 1-800-232-6686.  jw

     O.K.  SO if this will fit all these then they(other vin# that are posted)will fit mine,but crossing #'s from bike bandit they don't?, and checked afew others and they don't,Such as a K5 1975 right? numbers I know don't interchange & that sellers pick this modle/yr/thingy says it wont fit a F2,
      SO you can see my confusion ,if I pull mine apart I'm putting in a new one.but prices are up there 100+
  Lil knowledge would help.Seems to me they all would fit but????

As far as I know all the SOHC's use the same stator. I could be dead wrong. There may be different models with more/less out put,but I bet they all interchange. Maybe the different part numbers are for different harness ends?

      The ends were what I kept thinking also checked plug ends and also asked for pictures to tell,all had 5 contacts,(3yel.& 2 ?)I'm going to say that it has something to do with Neutral switch,Will get right over wkend
