Carbs WERE Cleaned Now runs worse!

tooserious
I had a motorcycle shop clean the carbs and put kits in my 750 and I traded them a sign....
I put the carbs back on the bike and it seemed to run better till it warmed up...Now it back fires out of one tailpipe and hesitates mid.... any thoughts??? It used to stall on take off or hesitate then run great if the choke was on a little......(before the clean) he took them apart and the works I guess!!!????

Take it back to that shop and make them get it right.

They may not even know it is running bad.

You may be better off fixing it your self.
Many of those young guys know nothing about carbs and are afraid of them.
They just want to plug a lap top into the bike and push some buttons.

Of course I would never trust my motorcycle to 90%
of most shops anymore for anything.

That is moron.

A $366.00 switch!!!

1999 Chevy Silverado  Those companies are really !@$%$#@! us .
I would love to see that switch. Someone retired on that one part.

Was that switch and labor or just the switch? Doesn't really matter does it?

They wonder why the economy is collapsing.

The '79 has CV carbs...  Does your bike have the OEM air box, or is it using pod filters?  If it had pods, throw them away, or sell them -- they cannot be made to work with CV carbs.
