Hey everyone,
Having a bit of an issue with my carburetor.
When hooking up the fuel line from the carb to the tank and turning the fuel
knob on. Fuel seems to be coming from the tank to carb fluidly, until fuel starts
to come out of the air intake connections where the air box(in my case the pods)
go into. Not exactly sure as to why or how this happening, some information
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Your float needle valves are not sealing, allowing the float bowels to overflow. Then your bowel drains are clogged causing the fuel to rise to the height of the carb intake allowing it to run out through your pods. You need to address both issues, and check to make sure gas has not filled the cylinder, and contaminated the oil.

I just took a closer look at your pictures, and noticed you have the float bowel/overflow tubes connected from one carb to another. This explains the overflowing into the pods, and not out the drain/overflow tubes.

TOOLS, thanks for the reply..
I pulled off the tubes connected from on carb to another, and gas is now coming out the third carb from that
drain, where the tube was on. Im guessing I need to close that screw so it won't drain out? As well as cracking the flow bowls open to see if its gunned up.

That screw should be closed unless you are draining the float bowels for storage, or repair. What you need to do now is find out why the needle valve is not sealing. You might try tapping the side of the float bowel with the handle of a screwdriver. Sometimes that will dislodge and dirt that might be caught in between the needle, and seat.

Hey everyone, its been awhile since I've posted anything, but i was finally able to crack my carbs open and see what was what.
Turned out my float needles indeed was not seating correctly as well as some chunk in the bowls.
below are some photos.
After Cleaning it up
With all the bowls off..The carb to the far left was the only one cleaned at this point.
Haven't had a chance to throw them bike on my bike. Since now for some reason I'm not getting ANY power to the bike. I bought a spark plug tester from harbor freight and was checking to see if each cylinder was getting spark so in the process of hitting the starter and checking, my bike slowly died on me. At this point if i put the key in i get NOTHING.
Things I've Checked:
Battery-Brand new gave me good readings when i tested it with a multimeter.
Fuses: I replaced the five fuses up by the handle power, still getting nothing.
If anybody has an insight as to what my problem could be, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

There is a main fuse-able link behind the left side cover. It is by the starter solenoid. It is a little metal strip held on each end with a nut. Just get a wire in blade type fuse holder, and a blade type 30 amp breaker to go in it, and attach it to the two nuts/terminals.

Thanks TOOLS, I spliced the wires from the two terminals and put them to a 30A fuse. My lights came on but soon as I tried to start it, I get nothing but a click noise and then my lights cut out again. Im guessing there is something wrong with my starter solenoid??

You have a short somewhere. At least the breaker will reset, so you can trace it down. I would try pulling one fuse at a time, and trying to start the bike. If you have a fuse out, and the bike cranks without tripping the breaker, you have found the circuit with the short. Another way to test is to disconnect the negative battery cable, and hook up a test light between the cable, and the battery terminal. If the light comes on, you have a short. Start pulling the fuses until the light goes out. If the light goes out when you pull a fuse, that is the circuit with the shout. Also when doing this with the test light, you will need to have everything off but the ignition switch, which would mean unplugging some of the lights.

Just as an update about my electrical problem, I found out what the problem was. It turned out to be
my starter solenoid, after hooking a fuse up to my old one and noticing that I was getting some
juice. I decided to order a new one and everything turned on like it did before. Just figured I would share
that with everyone just incase you come across the same problem.
Thanks,
Dennis
