Carburetor O-Rings

Does anyone else have a problem finding the correct o-rings for the connecting tubes between the carburetors? I'm working on a 1979 DOHC and am having gasoline leaks. O-Rings can't be purchased individually from Honda parts suppliers. My carb kits didn't have the o-rings. I used the best fitting o-rings available from Imperial and Metric O-Ring assortment kits. These were either too loose on the ID or OD. I finally located and ordered one Honda rebuild kit that came with two O-Rings ($44). I used these o-rings for sizing purposes and ordered a ship load from a major o-ring supplier. (Buna-N Nitrile 5.8mm ID x 1.9mm Cross Section and 3.69mm ID x 1.78mm Cross Section). I guess I could have gone to my Honda dealer but based on my past experiences, this would have been a waste of time.

I have never had to get any O-rings for the DOHC carbs yet, however on the older round tops, and keyhole carbs I just go to NAPA, or Advance and pick up 10mm X 6mm X 2mm metric O-rings. They fit perfect.

Thanks for the info. I might go by NAPA. Faster than waiting 2 weeks for the 0-ring delivery.

Seems pricier than the sources in the US, but a lot of places in the US don't ship to me in Canada or ship for crazy rates.
