I dont know about the A carbs but the 77/78 had press in idle jets. The mains still screw in though.
I have intimate knowledge of my 78K carbs. I love the later carbs more than the earlier. To me, they are much more flexible with intake and exhaust changes because of the accel pump and the use of a fuel screw instead of an air screw.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

New to the SOHC world picked up a 76 cb750F and needs carbs, I have been trying to see what carbs are compatible, I have one guy that has 77 key hole carbs.  Really what year carbs are most compatible, not looking for a true restore just get it running and make it my own
