Carburetor rebuild: Choke problem

charlesd89
Rebuilding my carbs and ran into an issue with the left shaft and the choke actuating mechanism. I connected them correctly with the spring hooked where it should be, but when I lift up the choke act. mech. the shaft doesn't turn. The spring connecting the two is bent so it's not as tight as stock. I don't know if it's the spring or something else. If it's the spring I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.
