Cb900f 81 fork oil

Hi all,
     Newbie here! I have a cb750f 81. I am on the understanding that it has cb900f 81 forks on it. My assumption came about after ordering new fork seals, dust covers and seal clips for cb750f, I then began to strip down forks. Finding the seal circlip rather than the cb750f crappy bent wire style clip.

My question is..... Do any of you fine knowledgeable folks know the quantity of oil I need to put back in and air pressure?

I don't know the quantity of oil to use, but I can tell you a bit about the air part.
If I remember right, pressure is 10 psi max. More than that and the seals start to leak. Also, best results come from using a hand pump. A compressor will fill too fast in some cases. I would start about 5 or so and adjust from there I think.

Hmm, maybe I should find a cb900 manual since so many use 900 parts.

Just some advice from a fellow 900 owner, look into upgrading to progressive springs. you will think you bought a new bike. This would be especially good in an F model since I'm guessing you want to hit some twists and turns.

I would have bought a couple of 900 manuals but thought it a little silly considering I have a 750 haha so I didnt! Silly me. I have found an manual online today though which I think has helped. In your experience do these quantities sound right?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I got the progressives in and ditched the air ride in the back, waiting on a few parts and I plan to do the front.
