Chain source

Peterwh
Does anyone have a source for drive chain please.  I want to replace the drive chain on by 1978 CB 750K.  It is 3/4 pitch, 3/8 wide, 88 links.  Both Vintage CB750 and Dennis Kirk are out of stock for this model.

What is the difference in the 630 and 530 chain?

630 is a very large chain, it is significantly larger in all aspects to a 530. The 77/78 k/f bikes came with the 630 O-ring style.

I prefer the 530. I have found some good deals on e-bay, and Cycle-X has them.

Thanks Tools.  Not just talking to myself this weekend.  I just ordered the chain from Cycle X.   Pretty cool site.  I think I will be going back there.  In addition to my "78" road bike,  I'm restoring a 1974k. The motor is just about finished after a complete strip down of every last part and I'm about to start on the frame and rebuild.  However, I keep flip flopping between a stock restoration and a chopper.  Having seen some of the stuff on this site I'm very tempted to buy a rolling chassis from cycle x and use my "74" as the donor bike.
