Change European carbs for USA - with fuelpomp...

Is there any advantage, besides the environmental reasons, in using the Carbs with gaspump?

If the mixture is leaner on cruising, it should get a better millage per gallon (km/L) on a long run... Or a better response on throttle, resulting in a faster aceleration..., or both...

I have dutch RC04, but considering the price of the petrol, i'd like to run it a bit cheaper, so i was wondering if i should bother on changing the carbs...
