Cleaning Carbs

CBShannon
Was interested in knowing what would be a good product to soak the carbs in to get the outside and inside looking fresh again.

I dont think there is any product made to do that but simple green does work very well for cleaning things up. Dip the carbs for a while and them clean them off. The rest will be some elbow grease.
You will want to pull the jets no matter what though and visually make sure ever hole is clean.

Simple green should not be worse then the gas the rubber contacts.
I would only suggest not leaving the parts in for days. A few hours is usually all it takes. If that does not do it, then it would have to be done manually anyways.
