DOHC Valve cover

FastCletus
Looked on the board and saw alot of responses regarding valve cover removal on SOHC's with either removing engine or cutting frame.  Is this the same scenario with a DOHC.  I have a leaky gasket.  Do I need to take the whole day off or just a half a day?

no need to pull the motor, it slides thru sideways.

the rubber gasket can be a challenge on reinstall.

i've got mine glued to the cover with brush on gasket sealer.

remember to mark the plug wires

Yep, not too hard to pull.  That said, are you sure where the leak is?  Could be the tach seal or the gasket itself.
