I think I found the problem. I only have compression on one cylinder. I did the old finger over plug hole and only one pushing air out.

I think this post will be moving to a new Topis thread. How do I move it?

Try acetone, and transmission fluid mixed 50/50.  Let it soak in, then tap the top of the valves with a hammer. Should loosen them up.

I took the exhaust off and looked in and holly rust on the stems.

Only on the exhaust valves though. So I thought I would just pull them out and check them to see if I need to  get new ones for it. 160.00 of knowing they are right.

I just don't see how to take the tension off the cam to crank chain.

Looks like pops bike has some bent valves. The thing is it did not make any noises when I was trying to start it.

So he is going to see about getting new ones for it. I think I will have one more bike in the garage for a little bit longer.

Nice bike! Mine is nearly identical, '81 CB750K... last tagged in '84... belonged to my dad. Just got the engine running about a month ago. The folks on this forum have been really helpful in my endeavors so far!

Thanks

Okay all back together. will not start. I have spark, BUT One coil make a buzzing sound all the time. I switched the coils and they will both do the same thing hooked up as two and three.

Any one had this before?

So much for the put together and cleaned up pictures. No new battery or plugs. Pops stop and pick her up with the trailer she come here on.  Kind of sad to see her go this way but. I got more room in the garage.

Now working on the wife's Expedition New timing chain tensioners What a pain in the dairy air.

But I can do the job myself for 450 in parts vs. 1500-2000 for the garage to do it. Always something.
