Does anyone sell new faceplates?

Hoko
Does anyone sell new faceplates for our speedometers and tachs?  I havent found any so far.  I may be stuck with buying a new set of guages.

CB750 not listed but they say this:

LOOKING FOR DONORS:  If you don't see your motorcycle make or model listed here, it doesn't mean the speedometer can't be made.  It just means that we don't have a speedometer to use as a template yet.  In many cases a customer will take their speedo and send it to us and we can then make a speedo face using their stock dial as a template.  That initial donor will receive their speedo face at no charge.  E-mail us with questions. .

So give them a shot

If your face plate is not broken you can get adhesive appliques for them. Search Ebay for gauge face appliques . I got mine for $15

Thx HB, thats interesting.  I left him a message asking if I sent my speedo and tach plates and a graphic, if he could make me a plate for each.  That would be cool.

My bad Hoko,I was looking at this thread on my phone and it didnt show the full photoYeah, you're def in need of new faces! Do you want to retain an original look,or would you mind aftermarket or even digital gauges? I have a set of stock gauges with cafe style appliques on them i would sell if you are looking for something like that. As far as aftermarket gauges,Trailtech makes a digital setup called Vapor which you can get for around $100 shipped to you. It's super easy to install. Its what I have on my cafe now.I absolutely love it. Best thing about it is my speedo is deadly accurate now,but I will admit I have not had much luck getting the tach operate right on the Vapor. Honestly,i havent tried very hard either.

Yeah, I asked him if he could do a speedo and tach faceplates and this was his reply to me.

"Shane - I can do it - any grpahic you send will work - (the larger the better) - I can't do this for free - I doubt I will sell a whole lot of em - but I can do it $20 per dial."

I've already got the idea for the graphics cause I've been working on one for my tank for months so it will just be a slight variation of that, should be really cool.  $40 bucks is a lot better than buying new guages anyway.

No problem Shiny, I think I'm going with HB's idea.  They will make  speedo and tach plates for me for 20 bucks each.

i know this thread is a little old.... but since im currently getting more and more interested in getting a cb750 build goin, ive stumbled upon various great websites... and to answer a question for those still in need of an answer, you can go to this website for allot of great parts... as well as the faceplates; both Speedometer and Tachometer.
