Early CB750 VIN & Engine numbers, decode

jpsabin54
I recently acquired a CB750 bike with a Vin # of 1024650 and an Engine # of CB750E 1024911 and I would like to "decode" just exactly what I have.  I am aware that it is a low numbers, probably a 1970 K0 or K1 model but do the numbers tell me more (orig. color, build date, and/or more)?  This is my 1st Honda resto as I am a Brit bike guy mostly but I could not pass up the bike that killed my Brits forever and the opportunity to own a piece of moto history.  Any comments and assistance are much appreciated.  Jim

According to your ser# it is a Diecast K-O. The numbers are close enough that it is more then likely the original engine. The frame, and engine numbers did not match, so don't worry about that. As for the ser# meaning anything, only the order that they came off the line, and nothing else.
