Early production 1972 CB750K?

ArrBee
OK I have found by barn baby. Left covered in dust and needing some love. Now after some investigating and some deep reading it appears that my bike is K1 registered new in 1972. The build date is 7-71 and the engine s/n is 110--- number. It has painted headlight mounts and the small reflectors on the side and no panel for indicator lights, all are in the instruments . So my question is do I order parts for a 1971 K1 or a 1972 K2. I am leaning towards the 1971 K1 but I am new to this bike and am in need of some expertise. Also if anyone can tell me where to find the frame s/n it would be a great help. Thanks.

Just send the bike to me, then you will not have to worry about itt.
I would go with the K-1 when ordering parts, but there is not really any difference between the two.
How about some pictures?

Thanks Tools. I appreciate the offer but I will keep the bike for now. I think I will go with the K1. As for all basically the same, I agree, the subtle differences mean a lot to me. It is probably because I am a nut. Anyhow, once I get the beast cleaned up at the shop I will post some pics. Keep the rubber side down.
