Electrical question

birdmannn101
Trying to put the wiring back on this 76 CB750A, I finally got power to the combination pilot indicator.  It only lasted about 3 minutes and then no power.  I checked and replaced the main 15A and top 7A fuses even though they were still good.  Still no power.  Is there anything else I might have overlooked????

Corroded connectors, broken wires... You will need to use a test light, or multimeter, and trace back along the circuit to find the problem.

Check your main ground wire as well.  Should be a green wire attached to the frame, either under the gas tank (on my son's '75 CB550) or under the seat (which is where it was on my DOHC 750).

Ain't electrical problems fun?  It's like herding cats...only more frustrating.

Talking about fun Luke.  Fun is when you find the problem is coming from a defective store bought jumper wire.  Fixed the loss of power.
