Exhaust Question?

I have a 1981 CB750 Custom. The bike has a 4 to 1 exhaust, I do not what kind it is, but I am missing 1 of the flange clamps. I found a stock set of flandes and clamps. Will the stock flanges/clamps work on my 4 to 1 pipe?

Are these the clamps that hold the exhaust pipe to the exhaust port of the engine?  If I recall, there are 2 small adapters that fit between the finned part and the engine block.  If it's those 2 small pieces, you should be able to find them pretty cheap on EBay or your local motorcycle parts yard.

If it's the finned part, those should be pretty easy to find as well.

If it's a different flange piece, that is probably specific to the pipe manufacturer/supplier.  How about a picture of what you're talking about, so we can narrow it down?

It is the two pieces that slip over pipe and then the clamp slide over them. I found 4 of them but they are off a stock exhaust. I have an aftermarket 4 to 1. Will that matter?

On the stock exhaust, there's a rolled rim on the end of the pipe, which gives those pieces something to grip to when the finned part is bolted to the block.

I would imagine there's a similar rolled rim on your aftermarket exhaust.  Check it and see.  If so, use the stock flanges and finned part, and you should be G2G.
