FRONT BRAKE ISSUE. '73 CB750K3.

Front brakes were sticking a bit, making noise, but working fine. Removed calipers, checked brake pads, removed left caliper piston, o-ring, cleaned everything. After reassembling calipers & re-attaching the fluid line, however, I have no brakes. No response at all. I pull the brake lever...and...nothing. Before, the brake lever was rather stiff. You didn't have to pull it back far at all before engaging the brakes. Now the lever just pulls all the way back w/ no pressure or response from the calipers whatsoever. The brakes worked fine before disassembly/reassembly of calipers. What happened???

These things are hard to bleed. They do not have the capacity to move very much fluid, so just a little air will stop them from bleeding. I use a pump type oil can to bleed mine. I fill the can with break fluid, and put a piece of hose on the tube, and then on the bleeder. I then pump the break fluid in through the caliper to the master cylinder. (Note: Sometimes I twist a piece of mechanics wire around the ends of the rubber hose like a hose clamp to keep it on the oil can, and bleeder.)
