FRONT WHEEL REINSTALL PROBS!

jamman18
Hi all,

Just had the front wheel bearings on my 1977 CB750 SS replaced professionally at a shop where I just took off the wheel and brought it into the shop.  Went to reinstall the wheel and the dual discs won't line up between the calipers.  They both are hitting the right side of the slot in the calipers.  See photos:

The axle is the type that is installed into the wheel and is held into place with a half-circle bracket. See schematic part #16:
http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1977-honda-750-super-sport-cb750f/o/m151839#sch405617

The axle cannot shift to the left due to the fact that it would hit the bolt that is seen in the picture

Is there a trick or certain order that everything needs to be put back together and adjusted again so that everything lines up right?  As it is, the right disc is right up against the right fork.  Please help if you can....feeling a bit frustrated right now as I thought the wheel would go right back on without any issues.

It is?  With all due respect because I value your opinion tools, I want to be sure because that means I will be insulting this shop if they put the axle in backwards.

A - Mazing!  You come through again!  I was able to unscrew the axle and flip it and sure enough, everything is lined up and perfect!  Thank you!
